Heads Up → Rumor has it JW is closing out his Atomic Trades mega LIFETIME sale TONIGHT and there are less than 18 seats left, so grab one NOW ⏳!

And…talk about a knee-jerk reaction!

Amazon – the second largest company in the world, with a market cap of over $1 trillion – reported Q3 earnings last night.

It beat expectations on net sales and earnings per share. It missed on its cloud revenue… same as Alphabet, which reported earlier in the week.

I can’t say that investors took the news gracefully. Rather, they reacted in fits and starts. First, the stock shot up 5% in after-hours trading. Then it pulled back. Then it took off again, and is continuing to move higher (so far) today.

AMZN was one of two earnings I’m watching closely for a better idea of the market’s next move. AAPL is the other, and it reports next Thursday.

Time will tell. In the meantime, we trade what we know here and now.

I rarely trade a stock into earnings, I prefer to place my bets afterwards once I know what the strongest stocks are going to be.

After today, I am adding AMZN back on my list.

As I mentioned, I added MSFT, NFLX and SPOT on my “Alpha Roster” list this week as well (and I just took a new trade on MSFT yesterday).

For example, on Wednesday, I alerted my Bullseye Unlimited members to my bearish trade plans for Coinbase (COIN). My reasoning was that Bitcoin had become overextended after a strong run upward. I anticipated a pullback and bought puts on COIN as a way to trade it.

Here is what I sent out to members on Wednesday this week:

This proved to be a smart move!

Just look at how the options moved since I alerted this in just 2 days…

Trading is hard, results not guaranteed and should not be expected to be replicated typically

I’m telling you, getting these ideas in your inbox every single trading day is just so much fun!!

Take a look at this chart, for example.

There’s a reason I call my Bullseye Unlimited plays ROCKET TRADES 🚀!

Of how about those LLY puts I told you about yesterday? Those options are up 30% so far (you’re welcome).

Even though it is one of my favorite stocks out there, we are seeing a bearish move right now and sometimes you need to bet against stocks that you like.

My other bearish trades have done well this week as well. This is in part due to my skill as a trader, but the market meltdown of the last two days has certainly helped increase gains here.

As I’m dedicated to 100% transparency, to be clear, some of my bullish trades have turned against me this week. That’s OK. If the market finds a temporary bottom – as I believe it will – then those traders will turn around quickly.

That’s the thing with trading. It’s not only hard because timing and size are difficult things to predict… but you’ve also got to be willing to stand your ground when things don’t immediately work out as planned… and equally, you must know when to cut your losses.

I’m not ready to do the latter on the trades I have placed this week. But I’ll sure as heck let my Bullseye Unlimited members know immediately when I make any moves on any of my trade plans. That’s why it’s so important that you’re one of us.

As you read this, I’m preparing my watch list of stocks to trade next week. On that list, is – of course – AAPL.

This bears repeating: Where AAPL goes on Thursday will set the stage for the market’s next move up or down.

Come first thing Monday morning, I’ll email you the first set of three trade plans to see us out of October and into November.

At noon EST on October 30, I’ll hold my next Bullseye Trades LIVE broadcast as well – something I do every Monday – where I’ll explain what I expect from markets and where we could find our gains (just remember, trading is hard and there are never any guarantees). Bullseye Unlimited members can watch and learn from me during this time as well.

I’ll see you on Monday, in time to hop on the next rocket trades!

Here’s to YOUR success,

P.S. If you have any questions about how you can get added to my “Rocket Trades” 🚀program (Bullseye Unlimited), just call Jeff Brown @ 800-585-4488 or email ([email protected]), and he would be happy to talk about any special offers, payment plans, and help you in any way possible.
