Good Monday all,
Well here we go, one minute markets are getting crushed and the next we are pushing back higher.
Sure makes it tricky to navigate but let me share with you a few things I am watching for this week.
This morning I sent out a morning email to members talking about SPY Calls for my “Trade of the Day.”
Well, to be honest, I actually had to make a small adjustment to my trade of the day and I redid the alert at 9:24am to September 16th $542 calls because SPY was rallying strongly near the open. I felt this was just a better trade idea and a little less expensive too.
So far, SPY is up $6 dollars and change, so my morning thesis was once again SPOT on.
So that’s all fine and dandy for Market Navigator members right now, but what do I see coming for the rest of the week?
Well, keep an eye on data points Wednesday and Thursday as we will see CPI and PPI dropping at 8:30am EST each morning.
I feel this could help spur markets higher AND if the data comes in line with expectations then I think we are setting up for a nice rate CUT for the first time in a long time, on September 18th.
My goal here by the weeks end will be SPY pushing the $550 area which is between the 50 SMA in red above and just below the 20 SMA in blue from above.
Therefore, most of this week my game plan is to look for SPY Call trades.
As always, I will be preparing each morning to send my SPY Trade of the Day email at 8:45am to members right here.
This email will have my exact SPY trade I am looking at based on real time morning data.
